I was lucky enough to recently give this treatment a go and couldn’t be happier with the final results. I frequently experience redness in my checks and struggle with dryness due to the Queenstown climate, despite having naturally oily skin. This treatment proved to be the perfect solution for me.
This facial contains 15 steps, exclusively featuring rejuvenating Comfort Zone products available for purchase at The Spa. Should you discover a particular product during your session that you love, simply tell your therapist and they can assist you. What makes this facial unique is the use of Comfort Zone ice spoons. They might sound unusual at first but trust me they feel amazing. These spoons are designed to calm inflammation, reduce puffiness, and provide a touch of vitality and oxygenation to the facial tissues while relieving micro-tension. The results were instant as my redness was no longer there after leaving my treatment.
During the treatment, my therapist applied a series of soothing, hydrating products, complemented by a gentle micro peel lotion to exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells to help with product absorption. Following this step, a hydrating mask is applied and left on for 10 minutes. While you wait, you can choose between a scalp or arm and hand massage. I went for the arm and hand massage, which was absolutely wonderful – it relieved tension I didn’t even know I had. I won’t spoil the surprise of the other products used, but each one leaves your skin feeling hydrated and silky. This treatment is very popular within our members and guests, and it’s easy to see why.
