Tell us about yourself
I am the type of person who wants to live until they are 150! Life is such an adventure and I have absolutely stellar family and friends to share it with. Usually, you can find me outside running or exploring with my dog, Teava. I love a challenge but also love reading and taking care of my seven chickens (well probably six as one has gone on an extended walk - I reckon a great walk).
What does your typical day at Millbrook look like?
Variety is the spice of life and that has certainly been my experience with Millbrook so far. I spend the majority of my time with reception and housekeeping, but I am very lucky that my position requires collaboration, insight and involvement from most areas of the resort.
What do you love most about your job?
I thoroughly enjoy making other people happy. I am looking forward to helping fellow staff members develop, grow and succeed in whatever they are passionate about. I also look forward to getting creative to ensure every guest has a wonderful experience at Millbrook.
What is it that makes Millbrook so special?
The people, and the ducks! Millbrook has a magical feel to it - the land, water and mountains together with the history and people truly make it a unique experience.
What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Keep people around you that fan your flames!
I am most inspired by the below quotes:
'I did yesterday what you didn't, so I could do today what you can't'
'Dead fish go with the flow'
'Tough times never last, tough people do'
