Tell us about yourself?
I really enjoy getting out and about on foot and discovering this amazing place I get to call home with my husband (and two kids, if I can convince them!). I have a passion for cooking, reading, and discovering new places. I am always trying to improve myself. You will often find me listening to personal development podcasts whilst out in nature.
What does your typical day at Millbrook look like?
I start my day at 8am with a group of great supervisors, preparing the workload for the day ahead. With an ever changing operation, this is always different. I then move on to prepping the roster for the week and attending to any meetings with other managers. The rest of my day is usually split into two parts, keeping one eye on the operation to make sure we are delivering rooms on time to a five-star standard and working to maintain a fully engaged team of around 45 staff.
What do you love most about your job?
I feel lucky to have the opportunity to lead a diverse group of people, hailing from all over the world. I hope to create an inclusive environment where the team can grow and succeed in their goals. I am also excited to explore other ways of improving the department with a keen interest in the sustainability space.
What is it that makes Millbrook so special?
Millbrook is unique. Although you are not too far from town, it feels like it's own little world. There are not many other places where you get multiple accommodation options with amazing views, great places to dine, world class golf courses, and great people. It carries a tranquil feeling and you can feel it's history.
What is the best advice you've ever been given?

Probably dogs, but I have a cat called Batman.

Anything by Woody Allen.

By the sea or looking at the stars.
