Vince and Shirly first meet over five years ago through a mutual friend in their home country, the Philippines. Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship, they persevered through love, patience, and understanding, leading them to their dream wedding day.

In October 2023, they relocated to New Zealand, which is when they soon became engaged. With their hearts set on having their elopement in Queenstown, they explored various wedding venues in the area. The choice to celebrate their special day at Millbrook became an easy one.

Their day was just perfect for a quiet elopement in the Secret Garden - sunny with little wind. The couple even shared their ceremony with family back in the Philippines, over facetime, adding a sweet touch to their day.
