With Covid restrictions affecting their big wedding plans, Kayte and Ash opted for an elopement instead - and it was the best decision they ever made.

Kayte and Ash met at Cup Day 2015 and the rest was history. Four years later, Ash proposed to Kayte in Queenstown and they celebrated with a beautiful weekend of wine, food and fun.

Since then, Queenstown has always held a special place in both their hearts so this was the perfect place to tie the knot.

They originally planned to have a large wedding with family visiting from overseas, but with Covid restrictions affecting their wedding plans, Kayte and Ash decided to elope instead.

They see it as a blessing in disguise as their day was even better than they ever imagined.

Kayte and Ash chose Millbrook for the beautiful scenery and winter backdrop Arrowtown is renowned for.

Their favourite moments from the wedding are waking up to the snow on the mountains in the morning, and saying their vows in front of the cosy fireplace.

It was the intimate winter wedding of their dreams.
