Important Guest Information, House Rules
The Resort Homes are private residences managed by Millbrook Resort, we kindly ask that all guests staying within this accommodation type respects our property owners by complying with the following requests:
Please remove any soiled footwear before entering the property.
Any spillages on soft furnishings should be reported to Reception so our housekeeping team can attend to them promptly. To avoid further damage, please do not attempt to remove stains on upholstery.
Most wall heating thermostats have been pre-programmed (basic instructions for increasing/decreasing heat are in the online Property Manual). If you are unsure how to adjust the settings, please contact Reception so a staff member can assist you.

4 Ogilvie Lane Property Manual
All of our Resort Homes and Luxury Retreat properties have been specifically tailored and designed to the requirements of each individual owner, making your stay a unique experience. Within this manual we have included some information specific to this property, relating to the operation of various components found within the house. We would like to remind you that this is a residential area with neighbouring properties and we ask that noise levels are kept to a minimum. Should any accidental damage occur, please inform a member of staff immediately to avoid any additional charges being incurred. Thank you for your care and consideration.
PHONES
The phones are linked to the Millbrook Hotel system.
PRIVATE STORAGE
The owner has certain areas locked for private storage. These include the garage, the door next to the internal door leading to the garage and the cupboard in the hallway leading into the living area.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER
A small fire extinguisher can be found under the kitchen sink.
If the extinguisher is emptied and the fire is still not out, evacuate the property immediately.
RUBBISH
There is a waste disposal machine in the kitchen sink. Here you can dispose of things such as soft food scraps and vegetable peel. To operate the waste disposal, put the items you want to dispose of down the drain, run the cold tap and press the button behind the sink to start the grinding. Press the button again to stop the machine. Please do not place chicken, fish or meat bones, banana skins (or any fibrous or hard foods) in the waste disposal.
There is a rubbish bin located in the drawer to the left of the refrigerator. Outside of the property there is a GENERAL WASTE rubbish bin (red lid) which are collected on a Monday and a GLASS BOTTLE rubbish bin (blue lid) which are collected on a Friday. Please rinse all bottles and remove any lids before disposing of them to avoid contamination.
HEATING
RADIATORS
Heat from radiators can be controlled by turning the dial on the side of each one. The main thermostat panel for these radiators (on the wall opposite the guest bathroom) is set to a specific comfort level and once reached, the radiators will no longer heat up. The controls should not need adjusting, however if you wish to change the temperature, please only use the keys. After a few hours, the temperature will return back to the target temperature.

IMPORTANT: Please do not place anything up against heaters or use them as drying appliances.
UNDER-FLOOR (BATHROOMS)
Heating is controlled separately in each bathroom. The controls should not need adjusting; however, you can change the temperature by selecting
and then adjusting the temperature using the ꓥ & ꓦ keys.

There are also heated towel rails in each bathroom, controlled by the switch labelled HEAT.
GAS FIREPLACE (LOUNGE)
The fireplace is controlled by the grey remote which is located on the ottoman in the lounge. Press
in the middle of the remote control to turn the fire on, and use the + and – buttons to change the temperature. Turn off the fire by pushing
again.

IMPORTANT: The glass gets very hot. Never place items close to or up against the fireplace. If you have young children in your group, a fireguard can be requested from Reception to be delivered to the property. Always switch off the fireplace when the property is vacant.

EXTRACTOR FAN
Underneath the extractor fan you will find a panel of buttons. Use 1, 2 or 3 to turn the extractor fan on (depending on the intensity you require). To light the hob area, switch on the flashing button (far left). Turn off the extractor fan by pressing 0.

OVEN
The oven programme you require is set using the FUNCTION dial. You can then set the temperature you require with the TEMPERATURE dial, which differs slightly with each setting. If you wish to cancel any pre-programmed timer settings, touch the
symbol to see the remaining time and either touch the – and scroll the time down to 0.00 or hold the – and + buttons together until the display shows 0.00.
MICROWAVE
For quick use:
DISHWASHER
The dishwasher has two separate drawers. Detergent tablets are located in the cupboard under the sink.

LAUNDRY
For your convenience, the property is equipped with both a washing machine and a dryer, as well as an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner in the cupboard next to the dryer.

TV (LOUNGE)
The remote control for the TV is located on the coffee table.
IMPORTANT: Please remember to log out of all personal accounts to prevent future guests from accessing them. Millbrook is not liable for unauthorised access to your accounts if you fail to log out. If you have any concerns, we recommend refraining from using these TV features.

TV (MASTER BEDROOM) SKY ONLY
The remote control for the TV is located on chest of drawers.

BLUETOOTH SPEAKER (DINING ROOM)
There is a Bluetooth Speaker on the side table in the dining area for guest use.
If the Bluetooth speaker needs charging, the power cable is in the side table cupboard. Insert the power cable into the bottom of the speaker, hidden under the flap.
SKYLIGHT WINDOWS
Skylight windows in two of the bathrooms can be opened or closed by using the touch-screen in those rooms.

DUCKS
We kindly ask guests NOT to encourage the ducks onto the property by feeding them, as they will leave a mess on the patio and inside the house.
