Millbrook Real Weddings

Starting their journey with an engagement at Millbrook then getting married here, this place holds a special place in Ursula and Jason's heart.

Their autumn wedding surpassed all expectations, owing to the breathtaking autumn scenery, cherished family moments, and the exceptional care provided from the Millbrook team on the day.

Ursula and Jason first met on a blind dinner date set up by their mutual hair dresser. Spending the entire evening at the restaurant until closing time, they both felt an instant connection, realising they were meant for each other. Since that night, they've been inseparable.

During a stay at Millbrook in September 2020, Jason surprised Ursula with a traditional down-on-one-knee proposal. Following this they celebrated with a dinner at Kobe Cuisine. It was only fitting they tied the knot at Millbrook, which they did on on the 15th of April, 2023, exactly seven years since their first date. 

 

The vibrant autumn colours around the resort provided a dreamy backdrop for their ceremony in the Secret Garden. One of their highlights was having their children in the wedding party - Jason's son as the best man and daughter and stepdaughter as bridesmaids. This is something Ursula and Jason will forever cherish.
