Millbrook Real Weddings

Kurt and Nicole experienced a truly enchanting and picturesque day for their wedding at Millbrook.

Despite never setting foot in Millbrook before, it now holds a cherished place in their hearts, and the memories of their significant day will be treasured forever.

Kurt and Nicole first met through work. Due to Kurt's laid back nature, it was Nicole who did most of the chasing. When New Zealand went into lockdown due to Covid-19, Kurt was on a rescue mission in Stewart Island without phone reception. Nicole, upon receiving the lockdown alert, decided to make the executive decision to move into Kurt's place - a decision she was confident he'd appreciate upon his return. 

The following year, during a holiday in Wanaka, while walking up Roy's Peak, Kurt dropped a knee and proposed to Nicole at the summit. This made the descent of what was quite a difficult climb up, that much more enjoyable!

 

Thanks to Steph, Millbrook's Wedding Coordinator, and the wonderful venue, they experienced a truly perfect day surrounded by their closest friends and family. Adding to the beauty of the occasion was having the ideal summer weather, resulting in stunning photos.
